Shamna (シャムナ Shamuna) is the main antagonist of Code Geass: Lelouch of the Re;surrection (both from the manga and the movie). Shamna is the Queen and Holy Priestess of Zilkhstan, and the older sister of Shalio. She is also the leader of the Farlaf Order.
Appearance
Shamna is a relatively tall woman with long blonde hair and blue eyes. She has a fairly average yet curvy body and has a Geass sigil on her pelvis.
Personality
Shamna is displayed as a self-centered woman who only cares about her power and holding her position above her subjects, it can be seen that she does deeply care for her brother. However, she also seems to use her brother as a method of displaying her "prophecies" to the people of her kingdom. However, her ultimate motivation is to save her struggling homeland that is upon hard times due to the peace created by the Zero Requiem and the betterment of her brother Shalio.
She holds herself above her guards and seemingly doesn't care whether they live or die. Whether or not this is just due to her Geass changing her perception of life and death is yet to be seen.
History
Shamna is seen in her bedroom talking to her brother about how she failed to fully inherit a Code of Immortality and is later seen talking to her trusted subordinates about the current state of the Kingdom of Zikhstan how they are in trouble due to the lack of demand for their soldiers (their main source of income).
Later, while Bolvona is out of the country, Yupito orchestrates a terrorist attack that is thwarted by Shalio with the help of Shamna who used her geass to thwart the attack and uncover the traitor.
However, the country began to suffer because of the Zero Requiem Plan. With the peace Lelouch's death brought with, Zilkhstan's primary export of weapons and supplies were no longer needed, causing its economy to suffer. Refusing to let her country die, Shamna decided to capture Nunnally with the intent of using her own variation of the Ragnarok Connection to create a world where Zilkhstan reigned supreme.
This task was made successful as Shamna possessed a Geass, one which would take place if she died. When she would die, Shamna would get precognitive visions six hours prior to her death, allowing her to plan accordingly. Using C.C.'s immunity to all forms of Geass, Lelouch was able to get to Shamna, allowing him to use his own Geass, putting her into an eternal sleep.
Abilities
Geass
Shamna's Geass allows her to send her consciousness six hours back in time whenever she dies. This allows her past self to have "visions" of future events, allowing her to plan around them. When she activated her Geass, the geass symbol turns to a color of gold/yellow. It is also unknown if there are repercussions to her ability, if she dies even earlier than her previous death.
She claimed that her Geass originally allowed her to see the future, but it changed along with her ideology. It is unknown whether her limit was still 6 hours when she had her previous Geass.
Failed One
The exact properties of the new power, "Failed One", are currently unknown. It is demonstrated that this power does not provide immunity to geass nor immortality. It does however, prevent the bearer from aging, thus giving them eternal youth. Unlike code bearers, bearers of this new power cannot retract someone's geass power. Currently, Shamna and Lelouch are the only bearers of this new power.
