The Pluton (プルトン Puruton) is a secret organization of the Holy Britannian Empire that has carried out black operations for the Britannian Imperial Family for generations. Historically, it is led by the Zevon noble family, and during 2017 a.t.b., it was under the leadership of Oiagros Zevon. Some time after, Oiagros abandons his position, and V.V. takes control of the organization.

Background

For generations, the Zevon family, a minor noble house, has run this organization from the shadows.

It is a unit that has been in the shadow of the Imperial Family of Britannia, and has done dirty work for its members that is not visible to the public, such as assassinations, kidnappings, blackmail, and sabotage. It appears to have a long history, and in the words of its leader until 2017 a.t.b., Oiagros Zevon, "has provided its services to Britannia since the days when 'Knightmare' was a demonic power," referring to the monstrous Knightmares, which were an antagonistic force in Shikkoku no Renya series, and which appeared in a context of civil war in Britannia. There is a legend that says that "Pluton", or an organization that was its prototype, has existed for about 300 years.

The only person who knows that the Zevon family leads Pluton is emperor Charles, who disposes of the organization in favor of his brother, V.V.: For example, Pluton was tasked with eliminating Orpheus and Euliya, two test fugitive Geass users who escaped from the Geass Order; and when necessary, they sent agents to eliminate Geass users who might endanger the secret of Geass, revealing it to the world.

The size of Pluton's unit is not certain, but it may include dedicated unit members such as Val (an original character from Code Geass: Maelstrom of Libra), or Typhon Ladon, who is the garrison commander at Hickam Base in Oahu, Hawaii. Since some of their members, such as Typhon or the noble Hyde Daydongroom Honorable Developpia Taysian Snape, have a public face, it can be deduced that they have also greatly penetrated the britannian military.

The current head of Pluton until 2017 a.t.b., Oiagros Zevon, achieved said position after killing his older sister, Olivia, who was the previous head.

Organization History

Due to the relationship between Charles zi Britannia, Emperor of Britannia, and the head of the Geass Order, V.V., Pluton was apparently closely related to the Geass Order, during the later years of the empire.

They were assigned the mission to attack a village in southern Hungary and killing all it's inhabitants to eliminate two escaped test subjects from the Geass Order, Orpheus Zevon and his lover Euliya. This act made Orpheus decide to take revenge on his uncle, Oiagros, and his four subordinates, a decision that led him to join Peace Mark as a mercenary.

In 2017 a.t.b., Thomas Russ was tasked with identifying and eliminating a Geass user who was causing deaths among the poor people of Harlem, Britannia, for which he approached Butch Parker, a local detective. When Butch was killed by the priest Gerald Heidnik, after exposing him as the serial killer, Thomas turned his efforts to killing him.

After Lila la Britannia, whose death in Area 13 had been announced, escaped from the Geass Order, a squad of Pluto, led by Val Lyonnet, was sent to Petra, Chinese Federation, to recapture her.

The Fifth Princess, Carine, also made certain requests to the organization, such as sending them deep into the jungle of Southeast Asia, for the destruction of a nearby anti-Britannian organization, in order to ascend the line of succession to the throne.

They were present during the Assault on the Geass Order when they confronted Benio Akagi in their Sutherland Pluton Custom and nearly cornered her when they shot the Benihozuki's Radiant Wave Surger until when they were shot by the group of Akatsuki trying to back up Benio.

After V.V. and Charles' death and the disintegration of the britannian empire, the fate of this organization was unknown.
