Nichol Phoenix (ニコル・フェニックス Nikoru Fenikkusu) is a minor character of Code Geass: Roze of the Recapture. He was the younger brother of Ash Phoenix.

Character History
Nichol and his older brother Ash were war orphans who grew up in an orphanage with Narah Vaghn and since a young age, Nichol has had poor heath. He and the brother were eventually adopted by Norland von Lunebelg. However, Norland claimed to only need one of them and intended to send one of them away. Desperate to remain with his brother, Ash offered to do anything. Norland took advantage of this and began training Ash as a child soldier and assassin. Unknown to Ash, Nichol was being used as an assassin as well. Eventually, one of Ash's missions led him to a mansion where he happened upon one of his old friends from the orphanage. Briefly stunned in surprise, the friend was shot dead by Nichol, who was also desperate to remain with Ash. The gunshot drew attention, forcing Ash to detonate bombs in order to escape. The mission was deemed a failure, and while Ash initially tried to take the blame himself, Nichol stepped in and took the blame for it, leading to Norland killing him. Ash tried to kill Norland for this, leading to him getting imprisoned and meeting Jugo Sumeragi.
Sakuya Sumeragi would unintentionally take Nichol's place by using geass to trick Ash into believing her to be his brother.
Abilities
Nichol had poor health from a young age. Unlike Ash, who completed his missions using knives, Nichol used a firearm, making hm less stealthy then his brother.
